About Shehu Shagari University Of Education Sokoto, Admissions Exercise, Appointment and location 

SSUES is the first and the only university of Education in northern Nigeria located in sokoto state, the university of Education is name after Former Nigerian President Shehu Shagari.

It was SSCOE sokoto Where upgraded to university by Former governor of sokoto state Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, however Tambuwal has handed over the university to the Government Science Academy Kasarawa as the temporary location. 

Senator Tambuwal during his era also announced the relocation of SSUES to his home town Tambuwal which was cancelled by the present Governor of Sokoto state H.E. Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto.

The Shehu Shagari University of Education Sokoto is now located at its temporary location kasarawa Farfaru Road sokoto.

The Former Minister of communication Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami is the Pro Chancellor of the Shehu Shagari University of Education Sokoto,

The other appointments was listed Professor Malami Umar Tambuwal as the vice-chancellor Wich make him the very first VC of SSUES while Muhammad Mode and the Nasiru Gatawa whom are also professors, was announced as deputy vice-chancellors in Responsible for academics and administration activities respectively.

All of Those three appointees are former staffers of the Nigerian and Northern Nigeria Peoner university in name ( Usmanu Danfodiyo University), (UDUS) Sokoto.

Faruku Umar Tambuwal as Burser, Engr.  Saidu Yahaya Director Work and physical planning.

And lastly Amina Garba was appointed as the first Registrar of the university, Sulaiman Dikko as the cheif librarian Of the University

Shehu Shagari University Of Education Admissions Process

The Shehu Shagari University of Education, Sokoto, has announces the commencement of it's Admission Process for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Requirements For SSUES UTME admissions is minimum of 5 credits in the candidate Ssce and must not be More Then 2 sitting including mathematics and English.

Candidate must Also score the minimum of 140 point on his JAMB as the Shehu Shagari University of Education UTME/JAMB cut of is set to be minimum of 140 score.

Also The candidates Joining through Direct Entry (D.E) Admission must also have either NCE or Diploma or other certificate  equivalent to NCE or Diploma with minimum of Lower Credit Grade or its equivalent, however candidate must also have minimum of five O'level Credits in the chosen course from his Ssce including English Language and Mathematics.

According to SSUES any Candidates willing to study must be at least Sixteen (16) years old.

Candidate also must change his institution to Shehu Shagari University of Education and also upload his Ssce/ O'Level results to the admissions portal.

Steps To Check Shehu Shagari University of Education Admissions, Generate RRR Code and Upload Results

For Fresh students

First of all Check your admission in the portal, 

If you where given an admission, kindly proceed to make payment.

To make payment you must provide your phone number and email address.

Generate RRR Code, make your Remitta payment to the the RRR either online or in any nearest bank.

After that Login to the portal using RRR as your username and password to create new account.

Make a print copy of your evidence of payment, go-to university confirmation Hall collect your Confirmation letter/admissions offer and continue using your admissions number as your login details in the students portal.
