An opportunity to learn and get some financial support by the federal ministry of communication, the effort is been made for the federal government target to make Nigerian people digitally vibrant before the arrival of the year 2027.
In it effort Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy has today launched a new program with title the( Nigeria Artificial Intelligence Research Scheme ) Wich is targeting to fund 45 consortia of startups and researchers Wich will allow them explore further opportunities to deepen their work and build a sustainable AI ecosystem in Nigeria.

The Ministry is inviting people who are researchers and willing to startups working in AI in order to apply for up to N5m (Five million Naira) grant for people who successfully make a final list.
The initiative is on mission and vision of fostering a vibrant and sustainable Artificial intelligence (AI ) ecosystem in Nigeria by providing financial support, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration among individuals and organisations in the AI industry.
The applicants must have an initiated artificial intelligence projects in order to qualify for the competition.
45 people will make it to the final list will be awarded with the sum of 5,000,000 Naira each to solve Thier business financial problems.

Wait for the shortlist email Tobe send to you for the next step of the application.
Note that the selection committee of the winners of the scheme is a group of Artificial intelligence expert in different AI knowledge field.
