The Borno State Scholarship is part of the Borno state government's social welfare and collaborative responsibilities to Borno's indigents to support educational sector in Borno state.

However The Borno State Scholarship Board awards a number of scholarships to its citizens each year in order to assist applicants and reduce illiteracy in the state. Steps To Register for Borno state scholarship

- The first step is to Set up an account with a valid email address.
- An email with a confirmation link will be sent to you.
- To confirm your registration, click the email button.
- Enter your email address and password to gain access.

As of 2022, the Borno State Government had set aside N611.9 million specifically for the distribution of scholarship allowances to students with financial difficulties enrolled in tertiary institutions. During a press conference in Maiduguri, Bala Isa, the Executive Secretary of the Borno State Scholarship Board, announced this significant allocation. He even stated that Governor Babagana Zulum had approved the release of these funds to meet students' scholarship needs for the 2021/2022 academic year.
