Undergraduate Admission Requirements at Lead City University:
- For Entry into 100L (UTME): GCE O/L, SSCE/NABTEB/NECO, or equivalent with a credit level pass in five (5) subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two sittings.
- Applicant must have current UTME results with a score of 140 and above.
- Then 'O' Level results showing five (5) credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings (one sitting only for professional courses).
- JAMB slip indicating the desired course of study with Lead City University as the first choice for Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Physiotherapy.
- For Entry into 200L (Direct Entry): Additional qualifications such as University Diploma, NCE, IJMB, OND, GCE 'A' Level, or equivalent professional qualifications will be admitted into 200 level.
- International Baccalaureate, IB, IJMB/JUPEB with at least three (3) 'A' Level passes (A, B, or C) in relevant subjects for professional courses and at least two (2) 'A' Level passes for other courses.
- Also applicant must have 'O' Level results showing five (5) credit passes.
- JAMB admission letter (issued at the point of admission into the previous university).
- Complete 100L transcript from the previous university with a CGPA of 3.5 for all professional courses and 1.8 for other courses.
Postgraduate Admission Requirements at Lead City University:
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD):
- Graduate of Lead City University or any other recognized University.
- Alternatively, candidates with Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent professional qualifications.
- Duration: Two (2) semesters.
Master’s Degree (M.Sc, M.A, MBA):
- Graduate of Lead City University or any other recognized University with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division).
- Duration: 18 months (3 semesters).
- Additional requirements specific to Faculty, Department, and/or program option.
M.Phil:
- M.Sc degree from Lead City University or any recognized University.
- Minimum full-time duration: Four (4) semesters.
- Opportunity to transfer to the Ph.D. program after the first year, subject to specific conditions.
Ph.D:
- M.Phil degree from Lead City University or any recognized University with a CGPA of 4.00 or 60%.
- Duration is Six (6) semesters.
