The university has recently done an inauguration and matriculation of the first Faculty of Engineering students at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Nigeria.
The The ceremony took place on December 5, 2023, at the Faculty of Engineering, Gudi Campus.
However the event was chaired by Senator Umaru Tanko Almakura, the former governor of Nasarawa State, The Royal Father of the Day was His Royal Highness, Pastor Samson Gamu Yare, the Chun Mada.
The special guest of honor of the event was His Royal Highness, Justice Sidi Dauda Bage (rtd), the Emir of Lafia.
The inauguration lecture also was delivered by His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State and Visitor to the University. With The topic "Engineering the Future; Innovations for Sustainable Infrastructural Development."
Among other distinguish people who attended the event, was Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed, and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Professor Emmanuel Kucha.
On December 6th also NSUK has matriculated and Inaugurated the first ever set of Medical and Health Sciences Student who were given an admission in to various health courses among the newly approved Medical courses By NUC to NSUK.
