Nile University is a private university that is located in Abuja, the Nigeria's Federal Capital Territory, and was founded in 2009, the university was founded in response to the need to provide high quality higher education to an increasing number of high school graduates. It initially consisted of three colleges that is the Arts & Social Sciences, Engineering, and Natural & Applied Sciences and served 93 students. The institution developed over time, recognizing the need for higher education standards, which led to the founding of the School of Postgraduate Studies in 2014. Nile University joined Honoris United Universities, Africa's largest private higher education network, in 2020.

 Nile University Admission and Requirements

General Admission Requirements:

• Obtain 5 credits, including English, which can be in a maximum of 2 sittings for O’level.

• Refer to the Jamb Brochure for complete requirements.

• Admission into an undergraduate degree program is based on Faculty and Departmental requirements.

Admission Requirements for Nigerian Students:

1. Applicants must take the JAMB Examination or UTME and achieve the approved cut-off mark for the year.

2. Present 5 credits, not exceeding two sittings.

3. Submit the following documents to the admission office:

•    Completed and Signed Application Form
•    Copy of the student Official Senior Secondary School Transcript
•    Copy of the student's Official Senior Secondary School extermination Certificate
•    Copies of Official Examination Results
•    Guarantor’s Letter/Attestation of Financial Support
•    Medical Report & Immunization Records
•  Copy of the  Recommendation Letter from your Secondary School Principal
•    4 Recent Passport Photographs

Admission Requirements for Foreign Applicants:

- Provide corresponding Examination Results and academic transcript of previous high schools.

Admission Requirements for Transfer & Direct Entry Students:

- Direct Entry candidates include those with OND, NCE, HND, 'A' level GCE, SBS, JUPEB, IJMB, or other higher qualifications.

- Transfer candidates from national universities are generally preferred, with a minimum grade point average of 1.50 CGPA (3rd class) on a 5.0 scale.

Documents Required for Registration:

• Five O’level credits passed in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE, including English language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
• National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Discharge Certificate or letter of Exemption.
• Three referee reports.
• When registering, bring credentials, including certificates/degrees, and ensure official transcripts are sent to Nile University.

Nile University Application Guide

1. Visit the Nile University Application Portal which is https://application.nileuniversity.edu.ng 

2. Account Creation:

     • Click on "Create an account.

     • Provide Email, Phone Number, and Password.

     • Confirm Password make sure that the Password is atleat 8 characters or more and should contain upper case e.g AGAjahub, AGAJAHUB.

     •  Click the "Submit" button to create your account.

3. Verify and Login:

      • go to your email box and click on the button to verify your account. Once it is verified you should log in.

      • Enter your Email and Password.

      • Click "Login" Button.

5. Application Information:

   • Fill in your personal details, and select the program you want to study,

   • Fill in your result information.

   •  Provide information for Next of Kin details.

   • upload all the required document.

   • Review personal details, program selection, result information, and document uploads, check very well to see if there's no any mistake and click the submit button.

Nile University Payment Guide

After completing all application information and verifying its accuracy by clicking "Preview," if any mistake is identified, click Go Back, and contact the academic division.

 If it  is correct then proceed and click "Pay Now." Button. 

Select the payment method want to use be it Card, USSD, or Bank Transfer.

For Bank Transfer, after successfully transferring the money click the "I’ve sent the money." On the screen.

For USSD too Once you are done you have to click I’ve completed the payment.

Note the transaction reference on the Success page and check your email for a payment receipt.

If not redirected or no receipt received, wait for 24 hours for payment reversal if debited.

Human Anatomy fees per semeste is r₦1,375,000 and fees per session is ₦2,750,000.

Public Health fees ₦1,375,000 per semester, ₦2,750,000 per session

• Asokoro Male - ROOM OF 3 (Triple Room) is ₦2,185,000/session (Food inclusive)

6. Proceed and select the building and Room categories you wish to apply for and book.

7. Verify your Booking & Make Payment before it expires.

8. For new students, get enrolled for returning students, complete bed space allocation.
