Introduction

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) stands as a thriving education hub, attracting students globally. With both public and private institutions, UAE offers diverse opportunities for higher education. While Emirati students access public institutions tuition-free, private schools and colleges provide scholarships for international students.

One such institution, the Global India International School (GIIS) in Abu Dhabi, offers six scholarships spanning pre-school to high school.

These include the GIIS SUPER STAR SCHOLARSHIP, ZAYED GANDHI MERIT CUM MEANS SCHOLARSHIP, Dr. A.P.J ABDUL KALAM GLOBAL SKILLS SCHOLARSHIP, 9GEMS HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT SCHOLARSHIP, GLOBAL CITIZEN SCHOLARSHIP, and GLOBAL FUTURE_READY MERIT SCHOLARSHIP.

Notably, the Global Citizen Scholarship stands out, open to students in grades 11 and 12, offering a two-year opportunity with 100% or 75% tuition and hostel fee waivers.

This scholarship caters to students scoring 96.5% and above, fostering academic ambition and early planning for international education.

In addition to the Global Citizen Scholarship, others support financially constrained students. These scholarships, based on academic merit and sports achievements, offer waivers ranging from 10% to full tuition fees.

These initiatives showcase UAE's dedication to academic excellence and inclusive learning environments, attracting a diverse pool of talent globally.

By offering such opportunities, UAE reinforces its status as a premier education destination, enriching its academic landscape and fostering global talent acquisition.
